Returning to Reed Hall

After months of renovations, a refurbished Reed Hall is again the home of the Classics Department.

Following months of exile at the north end of campus, the Classics Department is happy to return to the third floor of a completely renovated Reed Hall. New furniture and information technology, fresh floors and ceilings, and a brand-new elevator are the most visible changes, but the deep-level infrastructure of the building has also been renovated, including the heating system, fire safety, and all the spaces in the basement. We look forward eagerly to the summer, when we hope to be finished unpacking and able to welcome students and guests to our new/old departmental home.
