The Atherton 1883 Greek Prize

The Atherton Greek Prize is a monetary prize awarded every spring to the member of the junior class who has demonstrated the best achievement in Ancient Greek. An additional prize may also be awarded to the member of the first-year-class who has demonstrated the best achievement in Introductory Ancient Greek.

The Class of 1846 Latin Prize

The Class of 1846 Latin Prize is a monetary prize awarded every spring to the member of the sophomore class who has demonstrated the best achievement in Latin. The Justin Firestone ’92 Memorial Prize

Established in 2006, The Justin Firestone ’92 Memorial Prize is awarded to a Dartmouth undergraduate for excellence and imagination in visualizing or otherwise interpreting in multiple media the ancient Mediterranean world through coursework undertaken in the Classics Department.
